My wife and I had to replace a very old pool robot that came with the house we purchased. I shopped online and researched them and could only find these models that had mediocre reviews for the high, 4-figure prices, and was about to see what I needed to do to fix the robot we had until finding Airrobo. For the price, we decided to give it a chance, and we could not be more delighted. We paid full price for ours and it has been an incredibly useful tool. It always cleans our pool beautifully and rarely leaves any debris behind. For a "budget" pool cleaning robot, this has performed like a premium model.

We have had ours for just over six months - it's been cleaning the pool every two or three days, depending if I remember to set it up and put it into the pool. It was cleaning daily while leaves were shedding and being blown into the pool faster than I could skim them, and it ran like a champ.

It's a "forgiving" device as well. When we first received it, I inadvertently put it in water that was too cold and it triggered a fault. I thought the robot was broken and then looked more closely at the instructions for operation - oops. Thankfully I took it out immediately and emptied the water and allowed it to dry off before attempting again, and it worked perfectly, so thank you, Airrobo, for building a durable machine. I haven't made that mistake again.

To the users who sometimes have had the robot not start cleaning, I was using "auto" function exclusively and when I switched it to "floor," the robot worked and cleaned the pool and then the next use I set it to "auto" and it did the floor, walls and waterline. Lately, I just alternate between floor and "auto" and it always works beautifully. I've never tried the wall-only setting because we have too many trees (live oaks - our and our neighbor's, along with their yaupon holly) that seem to continuously drop leaves that always make their way to the floor of the pool.

Overall, this is a great device and when the time comes, I believe I will buy another - maybe the upgraded model with bluetooth/wifi access to run the robot from my phone.

I bought this in hopes it would work better on my above ground pool than my other one. Oh my! This thing goes up the sides to the top and cleans. Excellent product. Big, slightly heavy but it works so well. Highly recommend 😊
