It’s generally recommended to replace the filter every 6-8 months under normal usage. The filter should be changed as well when the Filter Replacement Reminder indicator is flashing. The reminder is set to be activated after 1500 hours of usage. Or you may also change the filter when the purification effect is comprised. For example, reduced air flow and smelly filter could be a sign of filter needs to be replaced.

Yes. The pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks under normal usage to increase the efficiency and extend the lifespan of your filter. Please clean the pre-filter by using a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust and large particles. Do not wash the pre-filter with water or other liquids.

In order to effectively circulate the air in the room, please keep any side of the air purifier about 30cm or more away from the wall, furniture, curtains, etc. For indoor dust purification, it is recommended to place the air purifier on the floor since pollen and dust are likely to fall near the floor.
Do not place it in the following places:
Under direct sunlight or placing the air outlet towards the heat source (which may cause deformation, deterioration, discoloration and failure).
Near interfering equipment such as TV and radio (which may cause image distortion and noise).

The built-in transformer of AIRROBO AR400 air purifier supports global wide voltage (AC 100V~220V 50/60Hz).
*You can use AIRROBO AR400 directly in different regions (different regions have different power outlet standards, AR400 needs to be used with a converter).

Connect the power cord to the power connector at the bottom of the main unit, and then turn on the power.

The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) is the main indicator for evaluating the effectiveness of air purifiers by international authorities. The higher the CADR, the higher the effectiveness of the purifier would be.
*The CADR marked on the AIRROBO’s website is the data actually measured, and is the random sampling test result of products produced by the national laboratory.

The noise you might hear coming from your air purifier is produced by the operation of the motor and the fan. If this is the case, please change the fan speed to a lower level or to sleep mode. Please be noted that the fan speed will influence the purification efficiency. The loud noise could also be result of clogged filter, incorrectly installed filter, or a filter needs to be replaced. Other causes include debris (or foreign objects) lodged in the filter or housing area, and a poorly placed air purifier.

Since the air purifier housing is made of ABS material, it is common to have this odor during the initial use. It is recommended to put the air purifier in a proper place to ventilate for 1 to 2 days before the first use. If there is an unpleasant smell from the air purifier outlet after using for a period of time, please take out the filter and turn on the air purifier for 5 minutes. The absence of odor within these 5 minutes indicates that the filter needs to be replaced because there is a pollutant on it that causes the odor.
